Miles

A while ago, I photographed the beautiful and freshly born Miles!  It has taken me some to get his images, but I like to think, like a baby, they are well worth the wait!

winter

 There is something magical about winter.  It’s not my favourite time of year by any means.  But there is something so comforting about the rain pouring down, and the wind lashing at the windows, cosied up by the fire with a delicious cup of chamomile tea.  Staring into the flames as they lick the wood, listening some beautiful mellow music like this .

Someone say Skydive..?

So we went on holiday.  A really lovely family holiday  And it was wonderful. And so now I am back and ready to get into it.  There are so many things that I would like to share, but not now.

First of all we went to Taupo and spent a night with my brother in law and his wife. And James, brave James went skydiving.  Ughh, I think I would rather have mice crawl over my body than skydive.  Something about his bucket list..

Jess and Emily

Earlier on in the year I had a lovely email from a guy who wanted to buy a photo session for his friend as a gift. Isn’t that just so thoughtful? Anyway after a cancellation due to some terrible weather, a couple of weeks ago we finally managed to make it work, and Jess and her sweet little girl Emily came out to see me and get some sweet photos done.

I just adore Emily’s outfit too. It’s the kind of clothing I would like to dress my girls in, although apparently almost everything Emily is wearing is from the UK. Yes, another reason why I need a holiday over there!

J + E – thank you for your lovelyness, how sweet it is to see a mummy and daughter so close and cherished.

Oh and by the way – I am taking a 2 week hiatus from all social media (eeekk!).  To spend some much needed time with the girls and the Sir. (Yes, that is what he likes to be referred to as.)  However, I shall be available on email, so if you need me, that’s where you’ll find me.
